Leo Tan, a Singapore-based certified financial planner who has worked with more than 3,000 people in helping them plan for their futures, this week excitedly announced he has launched a finance blog for readers everywhere.
Passionate about sharing his educational background and passion for financial planning with as many people as possible in Singapore, Tan launched “TheMoneyBees,” which will post regular blogs/articles, host workshops, and publish full-length books that breakdown every last detail of financial planning.
“It’s no secret that there is a widespread lack of personal finance education provided in Singapore today,” said Tan. “This leaves people in a vulnerable position with their finances, preventing them from saving and amassing as much wealth as possible. It’s a travesty that I can’t sit by and idly watch any longer.”
Immediately upon graduation, Tan realized that he had very little knowledge of personal finance, money, and saving. Thrust into the world with no prior information on how to pursue smart money investments and strategies, Tan turned his frustration into a new kind of blog that can help many of Singapore’s youth affected by poor money management.
With TheMoneyBees, Tan is leveraging his personal financial relationship expertise in building rapport with clients and earning trust. TheMoneyBees will also contain personal finance online courses that individuals are able to enroll in from anywhere in Singapore.
Additionally, Tan is currently finishing “My Money Makeover,” a full-length personal finance book he is excited to share with readers through his blog platform.
“I see TheMoneyBees as a one-stop platform for financial education, covering every last thing people need to know to master the art of managing and investing their money,” said Tan. “Especially during a global pandemic, managing money smartly has never been more important. I want everyone in Singapore to know that TheMoneyBees will keep them informed and abreast on the latest financial planning news, so they can make smart investment decisions.”
Tan’s financial planning education includes experience in: financial health check-ups, insurance planning, wealth accumulation strategies, retirement planning, basic tax guidance, debt management, and financial coaching. He has been the recipient of multiple financial planning awards, including the CFA III Candidate for the CFA Institute, the Certified Financial Planner™ for CFP, and the Qualifier of Million Dollar Round Table for MDRT: The Premier Association of Financial Professionals. Tan has also proudly logged over 6,000 hours of experience, helped 3,000 or more clients, and has drafted 1,000 financial plans that have changed lives forever.
“I understand the frustrations of everyday people looking to lay the financial foundation,” said Tan. “I see it daily as I work hands-on with my clients. They want a competent and trusted advisor that understands their needs. That’s what has turned me into a financial coach for everyone. Spread the word on the launch of my blog today.”
