Author, Ginger Reynolds, narrates her personal, heart-breaking but absolutely encouraging story in ‘God Kisses’. This true life story about her past, written in heart-wrenching honesty is geared towards reviving and restoring the hope of people who have lost hope as a result of the loss of someone special. This is part of her determination to positively influence her readers all around the world.
In a very tear-dropping tone, Ginger Reynolds recounts her struggles: Her beloved daughter, Tayler was her priority and gave her purpose and meaning to her life. Her joy was, however, short-lived when Tayler was diagnosed with Leukemia in March 2009 and in April of same year, Tayler lost her life to Sepsis. Reynolds’s faith became wavering as she struggled during her daughter’s illness and after her death. She wondered, “How does a loving God take such a precious child and allow this to happen?”
As she journeyed through this grievous path, God revealed his “God Kisses” to her through dreams, visitations, visions, and signs. She found new faith in God as she was shown that Heaven is for real. She witnessed confirmation that Tayler is alive and they both shall be reunited in Heaven. According to Betsy Godbold, executive pastor for Care and Spiritual Formation of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas “God Kisses takes the reader on a vivid journey of a mother who is forced to confront the sudden death of her precious daughter. In her beautifully written words, I experienced her full surrender to the devastating pain this loss brought. As the book unfolds, so does her slow growing awareness of God, and a deeper appreciation for every day as a day filled with hope.”
‘God Kisses’ is an incredibly inspiring story of a mother’s love, loss and revival. This beautiful Prose reveals her fragile heart yet unrelenting spirit in difficult circumstances.
Through the death of her daughter, the Reynold’s family constructed and donated a “Jesus Fountain” to their church, White’s Chapel, United Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas.
Because of the coins thrown into the fountain, “Tayler’s Water Wells for Africa” was created. She now goes to Ghana, Africa with her church to bless the wells so far drilled, administer medicines to over 500 people and build a pavilion that serves both as a school and church. To date, 32 wells have been drilled, serving over 50,000 people!
