MCFIZZY FROM THE GENIUS CRU TO DROP SOLO “TRAP TRAP TRAP” ON MAY 12, 2017

UK – Star Frequency, a record label passionate about promoting, supporting, and presenting the very best talent in the British music scene today, this week announced the man behind Boom selection, which made its way up the charts in 1999, is making a comeback, known as MC Fizzy from the Genius Cru. Back with a banger and a forthcoming solo album, MC Fizzy’s latest single, Trap Trap Trap, will officially be released for listening on May 12, 2017.

Presently working on the recording of a new track with world-renowned artist Sean Paul, MC Fizzy is a UK-based Grime artist hoping to the take the world by storm once again this summer.

Last year, MC Fizzy released a new single, Brand New One ft. Lady Leshurr, Mighty Mo, Gracious K, and Major Ace, remixed by Wideboys. It was picked up across 1xtra, Capital Xtra, Kiss, Complex UK, and Clash. The single was supported by Cameo, Majestic, Mike Delinquient, Mista Jam, and Link Up TV.

The newest club banger Trap Trap Trap is the first single off of MC Fizzy’s EP “Black Champagne.” MC Fizzy’s musical talents shine as his delicate and refined songwriting skills and producing come to the surface. He shows his ability to make a well-crafted hit knows no limits today.

Trap Trap Trap is officially available for preordering now. Though there is no official release date for the EP Black Champagne, Star Frequency confirmed it will be dropped at some point later this year.
