Airwheel S8 electric self-balancing scooter integrates the sit-on mode of ride with the stand-on mode of ride. With the special riding format of S8 2 wheel electric scooter, riders are able to commute with the electric scooter even in bad weathers, which brings much convenience to people’s daily life. Motor is important for a smooth ride. The following describes how to get motor changed. Firstly, dismantle saddle and shell and disconnect operating arm and vehicle body wiring. Note: please remember the wiring position before disconnecting.

Disconnect power and disconnect motor and main board connecting lines. Remove the motor shaft compression block and then remove motor.

Then, install waterproof plug. Please pay attention to the direction when installing the motor shaft compression block. Clear up the main board and motor lines based on the record.

The next step is calibration. Keep S8 self-balancing scooter horizontal and its wheels hang up. Insert calibration line as shown in the picture. Please pay attention to the standard port.

Connect the operating arm and scooter body connecting lines and connect the saddle and operating arm connecting lines. Then, turn on power, short connect calibration line and press A button in the remote control. Separate calibration line to ensure the line end does not touch the scooter body. After calibration, turn off power and unplug the calibration line.

Install upper cover. Please do not impose lines when installing operating arm.
