Gloria B. Thornwell Joins the Board of Directors on behalf of The Training Source, Inc.

Gloria B. Thornwell, founder of BluPrint, LLC – Human Capital Solutions (BluPrint), a full-service human resource and management consulting practice, has been selected to join the Board of the prestigious non-profit, The Training Source, Inc. Gloria will be on the Board for a period of three years until 2020.

As a Board member at The Training Source, Gloria will contribute to the organization’s governance through her management capabilities, persuasive influence, and sound guidance for helping meet the strategic goals, mission, and objectives. A certified senior executive, professor and speaker, Gloria carries extensive experience in global management, with a focus on developing and maintaining strategic partnerships and thought leadership to meet corporate strategic goals.

The Training Source, Inc. is an award winning non-profit training and employment placement assistance organization operating in Maryland. The non-profit offers a range of training, job preparation and placement assistance to individuals as well as to organizations, including the state and local governments.

Gloria carries decades of experience in multiple spaces such as employment, retention, training & development, compliance, strategy and execution. Her fluent communication and conflict resolution skills are perfectly matched with her knowledge in developing, managing and executing policies & programs. Gloria is a Qualified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Practitioner and Human Capital Strategist.

As the founder of BluPrint, Gloria led the consulting practice and its BluPrint Leadership Institute in the commercial and government markets earning the 8(a) and HubZone statues. While the company specializes in training and coaching, the firm also deliver compensation, policy, analytics, change management, workforce and succession planning solutions. Gloria similarly carries over 20 years of experience in human capital management, instructional design and training delivery with organizations at the federal, state, private and non-profit levels.

Gloria earned a Master of Science, Management, from the University of Maryland University College, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration, Cum Laude, and is a graduate of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2016 Emerging Leaders Program. She, along with her husband, Bryant, has been featured in the ‘Washington Informer’ in 2013, and she was the spotlight feature in HERLIFE’s March 2015 edition. A donor to her sibling, Gloria supports the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and in partnership with the NKF, led the first annual Prince George’s County (MD) Kidney Walk.
