Festiva, a family of privately held boutique resorts in the United States and the Caribbean has been hard at work enhancing its properties through its extensive, $18.5 million, Elevating the Journey renovations project. Festiva’s popular destination in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Coconut Palms II is one of the resort group’s properties that is currently being upgraded.
Since February of 2018, all 22 units in the Royal Palms building have been renovated, remodeled, and opened for bookings. 20 two-bedroom units and 2 three-bedroom condos each received a crisp, and modern makeover with new furniture, paint, and upgraded appliances. Keeping in tune with the property’s beach location, the color palette is fresh and airy, with light blue, white, and turquoise accents. Linens have been updated as well, reflecting the casual, yet sophisticated style of the remodel.
Renovations to Coconut Palms II began in late 2017 with a remodel of the sales center and the popular Tiki Hut area, which now serves beer and wine. In addition, the pool area also received a fresh new look with more stylish lounge furniture and a new coat of paint. Dedicated to providing its visitors the most up to date information possible, owners and visitors can get an in-depth look at the renovations project through Festiva’s online virtual tour which can be viewed here: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=VdPzjtzAUMz
“We are thrilled with the completed renovations at Coconut Palms Beach Resort II, in the Royal Palm Building. As we move into 2019, we are finalizing plans to completely renovate the rest of the resort over the next 18-24 months. The Board of Directors in collaboration with Festiva Management Services are developing a financial and renovation strategy to complete the resort renovations by phasing the remaining improvements over a period of time. Coconut Palms Beach Resort II offers magnificent ocean views with an ideal beachfront location. These improvements along with the newly launched Festiva Journeys program will elevate and refine the vacation experience of all owners and guests,” said David G. DeShaw, President and Chief Hospitality Officer of Festiva Management Services.
Although Coconut Palms II has already seen major improvements to its property, these recent renovations are just the beginning of a long-term project that will take place over the course of 5 years not only at Coconut Palms II, but at all of Festiva’s properties in Florida, South Carolina, and Missouri. Since the announcement of this massive project, Festiva’s goal has been to make the process as seamless as possible without having to sacrifice the superior customer service that the resort group is known for.
For almost 20 years, Festiva has been one of the most successful privately held vacation ownership companies in the United States. Starting with its first property in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Festiva has grown tremendously to include properties in the most popular tourist destinations in the United States.
