Described as the “World Music Map,” the innovative idea, an interactive infographic map shows the top 10 songs from some of the countries in the world, which are the very popular and typical songs in each country, with the platform currently featuring about 20 active countries. The easy to navigate platform simply requires users to click on the country of their choice to see the pick of the top 10 songs from the selected country and enjoy listening to the songs via a player available on the website.
While the team at Listn.to is currently working assiduously to include more countries and fill the map, a group on Facebook has also been created to allow people to vote for their country and suggest songs to the polls. The development team at Listn.to is also working on a voting system inside the listn.to website that will allow users to vote for their favorite songs and help them rank as part of the top 10 songs in their country.
