Subsoil Hydro-Toxicity: The Grimmest Threat to Human Life, Biosafety and the Collective Sustainability upon Earth, Warns Post-doctoral Research – The Female Canvasser Titled Strategist of the Year 2018

WASHINGTON – Nov 13, 2018 – “Hazardous toxification occurrences of under-ground water reserves due to the prevailing sewage-drainage practice, which essentially and evidently poses an undue and disproportionate burden on the surface and sub-surface soil and eventually leads the toxins to leach down to the water table. This unfair burdening of sewage-paths has increasingly, henceforth, became a serious danger and menace for the water reserves. The ongoing dingiest peril has proved to be the ‘grimmest threat’ to the human life upon earth, biosafety and the ecological sustainability in its totality”, alarmingly warns a research model of postdoctoral thematic enquiry.

A Pakistani female Hydro-toxicologist Prof. Khalida M. Khan has presented a postdoc thematic model on ‘Sub-soil Hydro-Toxicology’ during the convergent proceedings of 2018’s National Postdoctoral Appreciation Week (NPAW) and the United Nation’s World Science Day for Peace and Development (UN-WDSPD).

In recognition of the convincing research model and its overwhelming significance, Dr. Khalida Khan has beentitled as thePostdoc Strategic Researcher of the Year’ 2018-2019 inWater Conservation’through a resolution adopted during the annual proceedings of NPAW-2018, by the conjoint Board of Inter-regional Directors of Asia-Oceania Post-Doctoral Academia (AOPDA) and SAIRI Postdoc Multiversity for the United Nation SDGs studies. Successively the dual-esteem title with a medal of high institutional contour was scheduled to be conferred on November 10th to mark the annual commemoration of UNESCO’s WSDPD-2018.

Prof. Khalida Khan, held the UNESCO chair with a portfolio comprising of ‘Conservation and Watershed Management’ from 2010-2014.

A firm and unswerving advocate of the interlinked and interdependent correlation between eco-conservancy and environmental sustainability, Prof. Khalida M. Khan has now become an icon by becoming the recipient of the prestigious international title of ‘Sustainable Water Conservation Strategistfor 2018-2019.

Professor Khalida M. Khan’s mentored postdoctoral research was directed and supervised under the cross-disciplinary Asian PI, Prof. Dr. Aurangzeb AlHafi, who is responsible for initiating and formulating the conceptual baselines on the subject-matter of Sub-soil Hydro-Toxicology.

Under the aegis of UNESCO, in order to mark and observe 2018’s WSDP, an assortment of institutional hubs of the world designated diverse assemblies of inter-disciplinary academicians from different institutions incorporated their vision to address the key-issues concerning the role of science and development in building up peace and ensuring to safeguard a safe, secure and prosperous human life on the planet.

The environmental sustainability expert from Punjab University Lahore, Dr. Khan is a designated postdoctoral research moderator in ‘Dynamics of Environmental Sustainability, Integrated Mountains’ Geomorphology and Ortho-Watersheds’ of SAARC region at the US-based National Postdoctoral Association (NPA).

After obtaining the esteemed institutional award, Dr. Khalida M. Khan has invited the present Pakistani government along with other regional governments to come-forth to join her in the policy frame-working to cope with the impeded set-back hazardously posed by the sub-soil hydro-toxification, since the P.M., in his opening speech, has shown his concerns with reference to the water conservation and certainwater-related health issues.

High profile academicians from across the region including Justice (R) Dr. S. S. Paru L.L.D.(Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Martin Haigh (Oxford), Prof. Dr. Zafar Saeed Saify, Dr. Madhulika (Malaysia), Dr. Umar Farooq, Dr. Andrew Taber (Washington), Dr. Takahi  (Japan), Dr. Wickrema Weerasooriya, Dr. Salawal Salah (Sri Lanka), Dr. Bareera N.B., Dr. Fraz Mian, Dr. Azam Sheikh and Dr. RabiaFaridipay their  gratitude to Pak academia on the magnanimous triumph and wish for success in future to further the UN goals concerning the science and peace in Pakistan and abroad.

The milestone achievement would not only open new research horizonsfor the United Nations’ SDGs Perspectives at higher institutional levels globally, but also help forming up a complete vista-spectrum for Pakistan to become a regional leader in the spheres of relevance.
