Alasa Tours, a fast-growing travel brand based in Accra, Ghana, is proud to announce today the launch of The Alasa Experience, a 10-day tour of the exciting city of Accra, from December 26th, 2019 – January 5th, 2020. The Alasa Experience tour is dedicated to “bringing to life the unique moments” that inspire travelers “to leave with their own stories to tell” and coincides with an initiative launched by the Ghanaian Tourism Board called “Year of Return 2019.” This year is recognized by many as the 400th anniversary of when the first enslaved Africans arrived in Jamestown, Virginia, and people of African descent are being encouraged to return and experience Ghana. The Alasa Experience will turn the spotlight on Ghanaian the landscape and culture, including traditional festivals, food, and music.
In the span of 10 days, tour participants will have the chance to visit Accra landmarks such as the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum; walk through the Black Star Square, Independence Square, and the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, and indulge in the sights and sounds of Markola Market. Evening entertainment will include visits to outdoor lounges where tour participants will get to enjoy a variety of music ranging from Ghanaian hi-life to R&B. What’s more, participants of The Alasa Experience will get to attend AFROCHELLA, Ghana’s biggest music festival.
“From city life to beaches and mountains, The Alasa Experience will take participants on a journey of a lifetime” promises Mr. Samuel Kontor, Alasa Tours media representative. “This is a spectacular opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful and entertaining countries in Africa. We are looking forward to hosting all those who are ready to enjoy a fully immersive experience into the beauty of Ghanaian landscape and culture!”
Those interested in participating in The Alasa Experience are advised to make their reservations quickly, as availability is limited. The tour fee includes roundtrip airfare to and from the destination country; double occupancy accommodation; daily breakfast; ground transportation to all locations listed on itinerary, and entry fees to the various exhibitions visited during the ten-day excursion.
