AMBCrypto, a top premier cryptocurrency news portal, recently stated that they have now acquired a blockchain news website, CyclicMint.

CyclicMint, a London-based blockchain news start-up, was operating in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space with a small team of writers and contributors prior to the acquisition by Hardfork Media, the parent company of AMBCrypto.

AMBCrypto has absorbed the start-up with the aim of diversifying into different types of content production and to focus on improving their audience reach. CyclicMint is expected to add value to the news portal in terms of demographics and revenue.

CyclicMint was previously a blockchain and cryptocurrency news website that focused on covering aspects related to top cryptocurrencies in general. Following the acquisition, the management of AMBCrypto will be revamping their coverage. The website will be redesigned to focus on other markets including business, technology, finance, entertainment and sports.

The sister concern will be different from the main AMBCrypto website from the audience perspective because unlike CyclicMint, the former is a much larger publication which covers everything related to the business world with a primary focus on blockchain technology.

The employees of both organizations will retain their autonomy as both parties will remain independent of each other. This has been facilitated keeping in mind the mutually exclusive audience and the different subject matter they deal with. The new expansion plans also mean a massive hiring plan for CyclicMint.

The acquisition has been streamlined in a manner that the leadership remains the same, while only changing the ownership. CyclicMint will retain its leadership and operation style. Jeevan Thomas and Himanshu Kumar, the co-founders of AMBCrypto, will now be the owners of CyclicMint.
