SHE is a unique and beautiful boxed set of 100 art postcards featuring illustrations inspired by celebrated women writers. The project recently launched on Kickstarter and surpassed its funding goal of $15,000 in the first 24 hours. Over 500 backers pre-ordered the keepsake collection through various rewards, which are estimated to be delivered by July 2019.

SHE is a visual ode to visionary women writers who had a remarkable impact on future generations with their powerful words. The elegant illustrations draw attention to the immense contribution women writers have made.

The collection includes two each of 50 postcards, one to keep and one to send. The cards are printed on print-quality lush paper and enclosed in a keepsake box that can be placed on bookshelf or a coffee table. It makes a great collectible item for anyone who loves art or literature as well as a unique gift for book and art lovers alike. These postcards can be sent via mail, framed as art, tacked on an inspiration board or simply kept on a bookshelf.

SHE art postcards were first released in 2017 with 24 illustrations. The collection resonated with enthusiasts, leaving them wanting for more which inspired the co-founders of Obvious State, Nichole and Evan Robertson, to expand the collection. Two weeks ago, they launched the boxed set on Kickstarter and as expected it received a great response from backers worldwide. The founders will use the funds raised from the crowdfunding campaign to do a large initial print run and to keep the collection affordable without compromising quality.

The first SHE collection featured illustrations inspired by classic authors such as Agatha Christie, Mary Shelley, Emily Dickinson, Jane Austen Harriet Beecher Stowe, Murasaki Shikibu, and others. The expanded collection will feature illustrations inspired by 26 additional women writers. 

Throughout the campaign and in the coming weeks, Obvious State will unveil a new illustration each week as part of Project 52.
