ScreenRx Eyewear Releases Medically Designed Blue-Light Blocking Glasses that Keep Vision Relaxed

Chicago, IL – ScreenRx Eyewear, an eyewear design and development company that scientifically curates eyewear designed for computer viewing, this week announced that unlike the competition, their blue-light blocking eyewear products also keep vision relaxed for wearers throughout the day.

As more people than ever before are required to spend at least 8-hours in front of a computer screen for the performance of their jobs, this rise in “visual demand” is creating a need for eyewear that protects the integrity of our eyes. With many blue-light blocking eyewear options available today, through the help of eye doctors, ScreenRx has engineered glasses that also keep eyes relaxed and stable throughout the day.

“We optimize all prescriptions here for computer use, relying on science that ensures computer clarity is perfect at any person’s individual computer distance,” said Founder and Owner, Dr. Manny Chatha. “Although blue light is a danger to eyes everywhere, and an integral part of our eyewear formula, we take it one step farther to consider individual prescriptions for eye fatigue and strain.”

Chatha, in early 2018, spent time with his patients at his Arlington Heights optometry clinic outside of Chicago, where he was able to measure the effects of computer screens on the eyes of his study participants. Many of them, in addition to the exposure to blue light, experienced eye strain, fatigue, or tiredness of the eyes.

With his results, he created ScreenRx glasses that were able to keep patients noticeably more productive throughout the day, without the typical eye fatigue.

“Our glasses keep the biological screens within eyes in a flattened, or more relaxed state. Staring at tiny words and text for long periods of time can irritate this portion of the eye, which is exactly what we’re aiming to preserve here at ScreenRx Eyewear today,” said Dr. Chatha.

ScreenRx has a series of Screen Warrior Eyewear options, available now.
