Mindstir Media Author Luis Cumba, a Retired Police Officer, Releases a Memoir Based on his Life after His Experience with Death

Captain Bionic: The Amazing Luis Cumba Story of First Responders: America’s Everyday Heroes has been released to readers worldwide. The 132-page book, penned by Luis Cumba in conjunction with Dana Dorfman, centers on the author’s life after death. “I was one way in the first half of my life and after I died, I came back to life as a completely different person with a different personality,” said the author.

“After I died, I learned that it is up to me to make my world a happy and harmonious one. It was essential for me to cultivate my character and make the world a better place and make that part of my life as a leader. I learned that this is the basis for gaining wisdom in order to improve myself as a person and provide the best leadership and reach my potential as a person. I learned though, to achieve all of this I had to smile more often. Before I died, I hardly smiled. I didn’t socialize much. I was a very private person. I had fun, but I was on the shy side. After my death, I came back with a willingness to embrace self, including my fears and limitations and humiliations. After my death, I wasn’t shy anymore. I talked to people. I laughed more. The problem with people today is they don’t laugh enough and they laugh at the wrong things. Never laugh at anyone. Share your laughter about good things. Bring a smile to others and know that you have a personal destiny—we all do.”

“I learned a lot while I was dead. I learned that a smile alone can help you solve problems, improve relationships and firm up commitments. One of the many tasks of a good person is to work with people in order to find and solve problems. I learned that everyone is capable of acquiring new skills and to be a better person. I learned that you have to commit to accomplish what you say. I learned that you can change the world and make it better if you believe in yourself… Yes. I am Luis Cumba, and I learned a lot while I was dead.”
