How To Dress For the Apocalypse Is Raising Funds on Indiegogo

Support the new post-apocalyptic sitcom that combines live-action, animation and even muppets!

May 13, 2019 – A new crowdfunding campaign is being held to support a new web series called How To Dress For the Apocalypse. The new post-apocalyptic comedy television series is currently being supported on Indiegogo. The series will be released in the future on Amazon Prime with more platforms to come.

The campaign entails helping to raise funds for the production and promotion of the series. The group is aiming to raise $6,499 in funds. People can raise funds to take advantage of various special rewards, including an invitation to a screening, the opportunity to be an extra, and even the chance to name one of the characters on the show.

The series is about a survivor who comes to share his home with four others who have survived the apocalypse. Each episode will feature a short animated segment with the live-action show delving into each of the characters trying to find their own sense of self-value in a world where survival is paramount. The series is co-created by Govind Chandran and Jamie Laxton and is produced by Joshua Taylor-Davies. The group is behind the Amazon Prime pilot Superclaims and have had previous success with short films – being well received at numerous festivals across the world.

Each episode of How To Dress For the Apocalypse entails different entries from a fictional guidebook. There’s plenty of humor and many heartfelt moments as people look to move forward in the apocalypse. The series will pay homage to many classic TV and Film tropes.

The Indiegogo campaign will focus on covering costs for location, props and other general expenses. How To Dress For the Apocalypse will be an exciting new show to see in 2020!
