BJP MLA Ameet Satam spoke of developmental plans at India Leadership Conclave
India Leadership Summit witnessed Ameet Satam speaking extensively on his vision of Developed India and Developed Maharashtra. Carrying the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ameet Satam took on congress on many aspects of their promises to the citizens. While explaining the definition of honest and Transparent governance, Ameet Satam shared some of the statistics that ensure that the government is leading the country in the right direction.

India Leadership Conclave witnessed some of the greatest leaders and speakers in the house. MLA Ameet Satam took the stage to express his views on the development of India and the role Maharashtra State is playing. While referring to the vision of Narendra Modi of making Indian economy worth 5 trillion by 2024, the Maharashtra government aspires to contribute 1 trillion in the economy of India by then. He began his speech by pointing out the voids left by the previous government while planning for the development of India.

In the Tenure of Congress Government, irrigation scam came into the spotlight with having 70,000 cr of public money down into the pocket of few corrupt people. Not just this, he also mentioned the traffic problem that the citizens of Mumbai are facing because of lack of proper implementation of the Mumbai Metro project by the previous government. To build a metro stretch from Versova to Ghatkopar, Congress Government took 10 years. Other projects that were proposed by the previous government like Panvel Airport, Worli TransHarbor Link, Linking Roads and coastal Roads never took off in the first place. Those projects stayed just in the papers reeled under files in a government office.

Ameet Satam begged to differ the governance of his party from the previous party in the ruling. They brought all the projects that were stuck in a government office for unknown reasons into action. Talking about the Metro project first, he gave an estimated time end of 2024 for the completion of a 256 KM stretch of Metro line across Mumbai. First Metro will be commissioned in March 2020 from Dahisar(East) to Andheri(East).

Giving the security of the city the utmost priority, he again hit the congress government on making false promises to the citizens. Once the BJP party came into the ruling, the first thing they did is to clear all the pending documents and get the tender ready for the project to take off. Within a small span of 2 years, 5000 CCTVs were installed and another 3000 CCTVs are going to be installed in the next 3 years. A total of 8000-10000 CCTVs are proposed to be installed in the city to cover every corner and track every movement at any part of the city.

With the evolving issues of farmers, the government came up with ‘Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan’ to resolve the issues of water in the farming sector. A total of 5000 Cr is sanctioned for irrigating 12 lakh hector of land in just a span of 4 years.

Ameet Satam profusely credits the honesty, transparency and good governance of his party for everything they have achieved in their tenure. His party is responsible for the transformation of 61% of MOUs into reality bringing into net different aspects like Textile park at Amravati and Agro-Processing unit in Hingoli. These projects are on the verge of setting themselves off and are going to take off soon.

Moving on to India’s ease of doing business and Global Innovation, Maharashtra contributes about 60% of the total business in the country. Mumbai homes many big businesses and organizations which plays a crucial role in this huge contribution to the country. India has moved from its ranking on Ease at doing business and global innovation from 170th position to 72 and this took place in a span of 5 years.

Ameet Satam then shared a small incident of proud that our CM Devendra Fednavis faced in his visit to the USA. He saw a demo model of Hyperloop there and people were amazed by this kind of invention. When the whole project is over and Hyperloop is set to run the tracks, the commute time from Mumbai to Pune will drop down to a whopping 20 mins.

He came to the end of his speech by talking about Artificial Intelligence and how is it going to change our lives forever. Artificial Intelligence has found its space in the agricultural sector and agro-processing Units. Government is making every effort to bring AI into every walk of our life to save the time of the citizens so that they can utilize their time doing something productive and contributing to the country.

With a humble thanks to all the audience, Ameet Satam moved on to receive felicitation. In the middle of a thundering applaud, He walked out of the stage.
