Finally, some good news. Rumour has it that Dr James Ellingford, one of the main execs behind popular computer game Grand Theft Auto and a financial savant, has bought a holiday home on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Having retired at 42 after holding the position of International President for one of the world’s largest ‘publicly listed’ computer entertainment publishing companies Dr Ellingford is now walking the streets of our sunny coast.
Speaking to our source close to Ellingford we are told, “James is simply loving the Gold Coast and all it has to offer and importantly the climate”. Our source went onto say that, “James is such a down to earth guy you would simply never pick it. He loves his old Range Rover as much as his relaxed dress sense”. Dr Ellingford’s unique blend of maturity, credibility, financial knowhow and confidence is sure to see him flourish in what some say, is paradise on earth.
“This is a real win for the Gold Coast and underscores another example of executives, who once used to be titans of industry choosing the Gold Coast to call home. It’s a win for Queensland and it’s a win for the Gold Coast” said confidential a Government source.
Dr Ellingford rumoured to be worth more than US$50 million dollars specialises in Corporate Governance, Corporate Strategy and all facets of Marketing and has a keen interest in making sure those around him always challenge the norms. I guess he must have challenged some norms to retire at 42.
Author of numerous books in his retirement this is one person we would love to meet.
