Los Angeles, California – March 19, 2021 – The Nancy Etz Scholarship program is now opening its doors for new applicants in the school year 2021-2022. They recently announced their school year 2020-2021 student awardee named Raniya from Morgan State University. Yearly winners of the academic scholarship program receive $1,000 financial aid for college-related expenses.
Students in the 21st century face innumerable obstacles–not only do they have to battle the drastic changes in the educational environment post-pandemic, but they also have to overcome the financial burden of increasing academic expenses. The burden of student loans has been frequently plaguing the news headlines, with students asking for debt forgiveness. It is shocking to discover that a typical college graduate in the U.S. will have $30,000-$40,000 remaining payments despite the tender time that they will be heading toward building their lives.
This reality is what inspired Nancy Etz to start her scholarship program. Her many years in the professional life made her understood that education is a crucial turnkey for one’s success–those who have attained a degree can have a variety of high-paying career choices that can turn one’s life around. Thus, she created a self-funded academic scholarship program for U.S. college students and incoming freshmen who are in need of financial help. Recently, the scholarship program announced its 2020-2021 winner Raniya from Morgan State University. The program now is accepting applications for the 2021-2022 academic year.
To apply for the Nancy Etz Academic Scholarship, one must be a college or university student in the U.S. Students can also be high school seniors who are recently accepted into a college program in the U.S. Applicants must fill in details such as their name, contact information, school, and a 500-word essay with the following question: “Describe an area in your life where you demonstrated leadership and overcame obstacles in either your school, society, or family life”. All entries must be submitted on or before February 1, 2022. After the review of submissions, one winner will receive a $1,000 financial aid on their upcoming semester after the announcements.
