Dr. Janet Frost recently debuted her first short story, “Dream Of The Blessed Queen,” where she delivers a compelling piece of “an individual quest for a place in the world” and “love and sacrifice.” The work, which features contributions from James Naleski as the art director and photography by award-winning photographer Kal Dittrich, has already started to receive accolades from readers worldwide.
Dr. Janet Frost started writing at a tender age, getting support from her family, with her mother preserving her first written story titled “Gruchump’s Pond,” which brought her a bit of fame as a young writer. She honed her skills over the years, despite her interest in science. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut has returned to her first love as she seeks to use her writing skills to change the world one story at a time.
“Dream Of The Blessed Queen” chronicles the story of Sir John Colchester and his discovery of a strange kingdom and its lovely Queen while searching for a permanent home. The fantasy piece takes readers on the interesting journey of Sir John and his attempt to unravel the mystery behind the beautiful Queen Lily’s identity.
Dr. Janet Frost has revealed her intention to put out more works in the future, drawing inspiration from nature and her surroundings. “I have several ideas or stories in progress. One which is just about finished is a tale also set in medieval Europe. It is the story of a quest intertwined with one of self-discovery. And it has a dragon! A much longer one that is not finished is called “At the End of Time.” This one is not set in medieval Europe. It is a story of courage, faith, and survival,” said Dr. Frost.
