Exclusive: Madame Kapuscinska Interview with Muzique Magazine

How did you come by your stage / brand name?

Well, people in my area always tended to address me as Madame and well I thought my surnames Kapuscinska and I can be a cheeky Madame bit ruthless with the truth. So it suits my character.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

I discovered my love for my craft at the age of 5 I loved the stage the flashing lights and the silence in the room when performing it’s breathtaking to be a part of that interaction with others through sound.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

My sense of style is very much entwined by the people’s cultures I’m surrounded by, societal norms, beliefs, awakenings it’s the awe of the life that is my style wild yet focused mesmerizing and hypnotizing skip dimensions so multidimensional style new retro I prefer.

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?
 
Well I Erne love hard and sometimes it’s like I can’t talk it’s so heated and energized for a reason it’s passion and then I write right in the moment of situations. This project eternal is about the strains of Love from being single to being girlfriend boyfriend fiancé to marriage and parents. The journey of lives trepidations.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

Fighting bipolar and fibromyalgia I get so much energy I could keep singing all day but then that tires my voice and I crash for days or weeks or months from using so much heavy bursts of energy in short consistent runs. Teaching others how to embrace me is a challenge il leave a conversation if I feel it’s negative and completely be in another episode in my amazing life of me.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

Damn right I am and I get better every day. I am a jack of all trades I control my desires, not the other way round. People run away because they can’t tell how serious I am or that I’m too over-ambitious for some they get surprised if approach them I mean we are all human god has gifted us all.

What are your plans for the near future?

I am executive producer, actress, director for the upcoming feature film Pearl of India and also doing the soundtrack lead vocals, campaigning my Ep Eternal in preparation for my album this summer, I’m launching my trainers line gym wear and casual wear, and also my sons own gym wear, I’m studying full-time occupational therapy and coaching artists and other entrepreneurs how to succeed in the industry. Due to go Africa to speak at a leadership conference.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?

My husband Daniel Damian Kapuscinski I know it’s not been easy dealing with my hospitalizations my busy body self and I love you for all your support and our amazing sons Romeo Luciano and Casanova Giovanni I’m grateful for your love as much as I will be turning our hiccups into prosperity. Our music is true to our hearts and is what holds our communication and spirituality together as one love ya babies.
