Healthtech Company PatientPartner Announces $20K in Donations to Charity
Healthtech platform that connects patients is giving back to their favorite charitable causes.

January 27, 2022 – San Diego, California – Patrick Frank & George Kramb, the co-founders of PatientPartner, have announced they are donating over $20,000 to their respective charities. PatientPartner is a health tech platform that connects a patient awaiting surgery with another individual who has gone through the same surgery, often with the same surgeon. These donations are to celebrate another year of successfully connecting patients and physicians within the healthcare community, as well as a “thank you” to volunteers who have helped the platform grow.

“We wouldn’t be here without our amazing mentors,” Kramb said. “We are committed to making a donation to the mentors’ charity for every patient connection they make on the platform.”

Over the past year, PatientPartner has grown exponentially, expanding into several new locations and offering new connections across additional healthcare lines. Because PatientPartner was built on the idea of giving back, they continue to strive to build a community that empowers patients by sharing their surgical journeys to calm anxieties or fears.

“We are incredibly proud to celebrate our community of new and recovered patients,” Kramb added, “as well as surgeons who work together to support patients in getting the care they deserve.

PatientPartner continues to rewrite the healthcare experience by adding this crucial step into every surgery. To learn more about PatientPartner, their goals for their platform in 2022, and how they can help more patients make informed healthcare decisions, visit PatientPartner.com.

PatientPartner co-founder and CEO George Kramb spent years in the operating room alongside doctors ensuring medical devices were utilized properly. He supported hundreds of operations, but it wasn’t until he spoke to a few patients before their procedure that he realized how anxious and fearful they were going into it.

George saw a need for greater support, education, and compassion for patients who were going through a stressful medical experience. He saw an opportunity to connect patients with one another through a community of empathy and support. Thus, PatientPartner was born.

Today, our community includes over 300 PatientPartner mentors who have gone through a medical procedure and are ready to share their experience to help others. We’ve also built a network of nearly 100 doctors who see the value in connecting relatable patients and are committed to improving their patients’ experience.
