Leewon Diagnostics (CEO Sang-Cheol Shin and Min-Seop Lee, hereafter referred to as EDGC) transplants genome big data into the world of Metaverse for the first time in the world. This is done with the help of their latest innovation, ‘YouWho’, which analyzes an individual’s ethnic-specific mixture through genetic analysis. So far, EDGC is the only company in Korea that can perform gene lineage analysis services.
According to the company, EDGC participated in the ‘AI Human Metaverse Project’ consortium with 7 companies including Maxt, a leading AR/VR company, and Class Soft, a game platform and content developer, to supply the genome big data engine YouWho (hereinafter referred to as YouWho).
According to the company, the AI Human Metaverse Project aims to create a parallel world that mirrors the real world into the virtual world step-by-step. It is a 4th generation social networking service (SNS) that unites reality and virtuality, where hundreds of millions of users use avatars to hang out together, and social and economic activities such as videos, performances, games, fashion, smart healthcare, and various commercial transactions are possible.
The primary revenue model is value creation using cyber models like Shinhan Life’s ROZY, and establishment through games such as Roblox, plan to unfold.
EDGC is responsible for transplanting ‘YouWho’, a genome big data crystal engine that analyzes 780,000 core single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) out of 3 billion pairs of bases in DNA, the human blueprint, to itself in the Metaverse. Based on the engine, they plan to greatly increase the Metaverse user’s “real” bond and immersion through characters that reflect their own DNA characteristics and expand the base to include “secondary” experience contents.
Accordingly, users not only acquire simulation results with real environments and conditions while living in the Metaverse space to live the future experiences they want to meet in reality, but also provide customized information and DNA Lineage that genetically affect health, such as obesity, hair loss, insomnia, and alcohol resilience. “We plan to check game items and contents using (genetic lineage) with the YouWho Engine,” said the company.
