Orlando, FL – In the United States, the home of influencers and creators, it’s still hard to find an expert content creator that is versatile across—say, Christian music videos and Disney-style animation. A majority of multimedia professionals find their niche in one genre and one medium hoping to garner a name for themselves within that niche.

In Colombia, a country of great entreprenuerial spirit, a new approach to content creation has emerged made popular by Leonardo Gonzalez.

Gonzalez began his career working for national orators and conference speakers. These speakers were often older and needed a savy multimedia creator to manage their social media accounts to increase a younger following. After having great success managing brands, Gonzalez dove into animation, video editing and digital creations that have had international acclaim.

With a career spanning more than 20 years, Leonardo González has positioned himself as one of the main leaders in the development of digital marketing strategies in the American continent. Recently, one of his digital productions, the documentary “Border Wars”, was mentioned by Mary Anastasia O’Grady in the Wall Street Journal as a great audiovisual work that manages to show viewers the great geopolitical conflict that is taking place on the border between Colombia and Venezuela.

Gonzalez is not limited to covering geopolitical current affairs. Among his main achievements is having led the creation of Little Heroes, one of the most viewed children’s series on YouTube throughout Colombia and Latin America.

Little Heroes is rated among the 100 most visited YouTube channels and is the only children’s animation channel positioned in that ranking. González has managed to boost the growth of his YouTube channel with more than 1 million subscribers, videos with more than 65 million views, being worthy of the YouTube gold button; also offering new options in English through Little Big Heroes reaching audiences in the United States—this is a first for a Colombian content creator,

Since 2007 his work was fundamental in achieving international stardum for the band Generación 12, by leading the bands effort to have significant digital presence in all 21 Latin American countries and North America. Gonzalez’s work led Generacion 12 band to be named one of the top 10 spanish langauge bands for social media presence and win the top ARPA award in 2017

Thus, wheather its documenting Colombian political conflicts, creating faith-based animation for children or leading a rock band to go viral, Gonzalez does it all. With these products he has won the most prestigious awards in the animation industry from 3D Wire and Google, all recognzing Gonzalez’s excellence.

The secret to his cross-sectional success is in Leonardo’s embrace of content creation and art. “Any great artist will want to undestand every aspect of the sector, I am intriguied by everything whether it be animation, digital brand managment or content creation its really a new frontier and quite limitless,” said Gonzalez.
