No doubt rising to the ranks of the top-most influential people in Ghana, Michael Asare Bediako has in the recent past been working tirelessly in several positions supporting public policy and human capital transformation in Ghana. He is chief of staff at heart and excels at navigating and Championing youth empowerment and giving a voice to the voiceless.
After Michael Bediako left his position as the Special Assistant to Ghana’s Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, he has been advising the Minister for Youth and Sport as a non-executive board member to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.. He believes that youth are the shaping element for any country. Their upliftment and progress can significantly impact the countries in the future. Hence, he is progressively planning strategies for developing 71% of Ghanaians to create an empowering environment for their growth.
Mr Bediako is also the Executive Director of the charity organisation, Akuapem Educational Trust, the largest private academic endowment fund in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He has led the board to develop a 5-year strategy to provide 20 fully-funded university tuition scholarships for qualified fellows.
Michael Bediako has been recognised and awarded by many reputed organisations. He received the National Union of Ghana Students Citation of Honour for Youth Advocacy for his tremendous work of uplifting the youth. Michael envisions a progressive future for Ghana, and believes that no one should be left behind!
