London based film production company, Double J Productions, is changing the way indie filmmakers raise money for their projects. The independent film company recently proved that there are other untapped fund generating options, by producing the yet to be released movie, Curiouser, from funds generated through the American tipping app, PickleJar.
Curiouser is the first film to be funded through the PickleJar app. And while the movie itself is set for release at film festivals later this year, viewers can catch a glimpse of the plot and cast by watching the recently released trailer on YouTube.
The new indie movie is a mystifying story that explores self-identity through an alluring transformation of finding one’s reflection. The plot follows the lead character, Elliot – a curious soul lost in her mind and searching for the meaning of life so she can understand who she is and where she belongs.
