Elias Zayas, known as “E.M.Z”  is an American Rapper and Entrepreneur From North Philadelphia. Being Born in Philadelphia, PA E.M.Z had a rough upbringing growing up in the streets. He believed he had to adapt to his habitant in order to survive. “You either sink or you swim when you grow up in these streets because the badlands will drown you.“ – E.M.Z

E.M.Z uses his struggles as a form to create art in his music to give the listener a inside of what it’s like in his world. He was brought up listening to rappers that give a very gritty yet poetic visual of what life is like in the urban community such as DMX, Jadakiss, 2Pac, Jay Z, and Big Pun.

E.M.Z and his childhood best friend Kairos X co-founded the brand Reject Nation together. E.M.Z uses his past childhood struggles as a way to bridge the gap between himself and others from different cultures. He believes Reject Nation is for everyone who has a story of being overlooked and rejected.

His goal is to impact communities from the inner city youth to the suburbs and be the big homie he was in the streets and use that as a mentorship tool in a positive way. Currently E.M.Z is working with a few of his artist from Reject Nation as he continue to guide and help manage their careers.
