The new company aims to bring cutting edge performance coaching to athletes and leaders.

British entrepreneur and founder of Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing, Lee Chambers, has announced the launch of a new coaching company called OverPerformance. The business, which will provide high-performance coaching to leaders, athletes and entrepreneurs, will be using cutting edge psychology and neuroscience to give those in high pressure and volatile environments the skills to gain a competitive advantage.

The methodologies and frameworks come from a variety of areas, bringing best practice together and distilling it into actionable and practical tools, and providing accountability to build skills around resilience and cognitive flexibility. Coaching will be available on a 1:1 basis, but also includes team facilitation to bring team dynamics to the forefront of discussion. This is due to the increased importance of team performance in overall outcomes and outputs, both in sports and in business.

On the launch of his new venture, Lee Chambers said, “We’ve had increased demand for performance coaching from clients over the past two years, and while we have been delivering this through Essentialise, it’s now time for it to have its own identity and vehicle to achieve its potential. For those who are looking to find a competitive edge in an increasingly dynamic world, we want to become a place for growth, progress and collaboration, bringing the latest technology, science and psychology to accelerate performance and leverage potential. It’s an exciting time to be launching and we are looking forward to empowering our clients to achieve more, break personal bests and get clear on using their ability and turning that into achievement.”

According to Chambers, OverPerformance will be launching in September, and with the coaching industry continuing to expand and evolve, it will be interesting to see how they develop in what is an increasingly cutthroat industry.
