The National Organization of Remediators and Microbial Inspectors, NORMI™, announces the release of the schedule for onsite and LIVE online (simulcast) classes to train students in household mold and toxic mold testing and evaluation
NORMI™ recently releases a schedule for its Q4 classes as the organization continues in its pursuit of training as many people as possible in the process of testing for household mold and toxic mold, evaluating mold problems, the damage caused by mold, and other air and water quality issues. The classes scheduled to commence in October are particularly timely, as many people are looking for ways of working in Florida, as the area battles the hurricane and its effects.
Water and mold damage restoration remains a major issue faced by millions of people in different parts of the United States. The recent Hurricane Ian and its devastating effect on Florida and surrounding areas have further brought to bear the need to get more mold remediation professionals. However, there are not enough training resources to produce competent, licensed professionals, which is where NORMI™ has been exceptional over the years.
NORMI™ is the only training provider approved to offer licensure in all five states – FL, LA, DC, NY, and TX, and most recently, Portland, OR. Over the years, the organization has handled several projects, including Hurricane Katrina as well as recorded success in helping to bring mold licensure for professionals to the State of Florida.
The Q4 NORMI™ IAQ/Mold classes, which are available in English and Spanish, are designed for volunteers and residents of Florida. The classes will hold both on-site and LIVE Online (Simulcast) formats from the NORMIPro™ Academy in Sunrise, FL, with the schedule as follows:
