Leaving the professional world doesn’t mean losing your purpose, Goat Diary is a guidebook to aging well and moving on to a fulfilling second act. Author June Reedy writes about the pleasures and pains of retirement and raising a goat ranch.
Goat Diary is a rollicking look at the bucolic life the author never expected to have. Work, heartache, troubles, laughter, and joy all have their place in the world. It is an exciting story of a couple in the 70s who set out to change 200 acres of Texas Hill country scrub cedar to a goat ranch. Will the transformation bring a big blow to their lives for the better or the worst?
Author Reedy takes her readers to a safe refuge at her goat ranch from the woes of the world. This is Reedy’s inspiring tale from a rural homestead to the joys, sorrows, and trials he discovers during her years spent farming and finding fulfillment in ranch life. She gives an overview of the rewarding experience she had while raising goats. Practical, well-written and comprehensive. Goat Diary is highly recommended to be read from cover to cover, or keep it handy as a reference for all aspects of holistic goat care.
