The Esteemed Project Launches To Promote Self-Esteem And Body Positivity

Forward-thinking nonprofit, The Esteemed Project, officially launches with the introduction of innovative programs to promote positive self-esteem, empowerment, and body positivity.

The team at The Esteemed Project, led by Dominique Joy Blackwell, has reiterated its commitment to providing solutions that make a long-lasting difference with a focus on empowerment and positivity as the nonprofit introduces its range of programs. The Esteemed Project aims to drive conversations around positive self-esteem, empowerment, and body positivity, promoting these principles through programs and partnerships with like-minded organizations and volunteers.

Bullying remains one of the vices that society has continued to battle for decades, with the act taking on different dimensions. The unfortunate increasing popularity of body shaming and other similar activities synonymous with self-confidence and mental wellbeing has further highlighted the need to put measures in place to groom kids, irrespective of their background, to become responsible adults. Consequently, The Esteemed Project is contributing to the cause through groundbreaking, impactful programs, and resources.

The Esteemed Project launched the Rising Stars Program as a free self-esteem curriculum for young girls between the ages of 5 and 17. The flagship program aims to promote body positivity, empowerment, and self-esteem in girls, with a certified curriculum, presentations, and fun activities.

There is also a scholarship program for first-generation disadvantaged students to help put them through school and ensure they get college degrees. The program aims to support minority students in their pursuit of breaking generational barriers by providing them with financial aid to pay for their college expenses.

The Esteemed Project has also created a community outreach program, providing a much-needed service for the needy, starting with the Houston community. The nonprofit aims to encourage well-meaning individuals and organizations in and around Houston to help people in dire need and make the community better one person at a time.

The Esteemed Project is a member of the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce and is in partnership with Dove Self-esteem Project to achieve its goals.
