The world’s first Global Digital Trade Expo will be held in Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province from December 11 to 14 this year. The GDTE is currently the only official Chinese expo focusing on international digital trade.
Zhejiang province is the pilot zone for China’s development of digital economy and trade. Entitled “Connecting Digital Trade to the World”, the GDTE will highlight development trends in global digital trade, China’s development achievements and Zhejiang’s practical explorations.
Leaders of international organizations like the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), ambassadors and consulates will be invited to attend the expo online and offline. The exhibitors include more than 800 global leading enterprises in the digital trade field, including 14 of the world’s top 500 enterprises.
Meanwhile, several enterprises and institutions will release their latest products at the expo, including the “digital torch” by the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee and the millimeter-wave radar with independently-developed chips from Huawei. Some major research results, standards and rules will be released as well.
The Digital Trade Rules and Standards Summit Forum will kick off during the expo.
