Italian chef Fabio Bongianni was invited to the Tourism College of Zhejiang China to teach students how to make spaghetti and other types of Italian food on Nov 16 as part of an Italian culinary program.
The cooperation program was co-conducted by the Tourism College of Zhejiang China, which is located in Hangzhou, capital of East China’s Zhejiang province, and the Shanghai representative office of the Italian Trade Agency.
Both sides signed an official agreement for the Italian culinary program, which was launched by the Italian Trade Agency in 2021.

Students at the college will learn how to make Italian food, including Italian ice cream, bread and spaghetti. The college will also send two teachers to attend the Italian cooking training camp held next summer and will meet top Italian chefs in Shanghai.
Prior to the culinary program, the Italian Trade Agency, in partnership with Alma, an international school of Italian cuisine in Italy, launched another Italian cuisine cooking program.
A total of 320 students at the Tourism College of Zhejiang China participated in the program and passed the examination. They were granted certificates following the signing ceremony that day.
