UK – 31 July, 2023 – The 13th edition of the prestigious African Achievers Awards (AAA) took place last Friday at the Palace of Westminster, House of Lords, United Kingdom, honoring outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to various fields. The event, themed “Unlocking Sustainable Trade and Investment Opportunities in Africa – the PPP Approach,” emphasized the importance of addressing challenges in Africa and working towards a prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future for the continent.
Among the distinguished recipients of the African Achievers Awards were Iviemene Omadevuae, Managing Director/CEO of E-tionary Properties, and Dr. Olori Boye-Ajayi, Executive Director of Borderless Trade Network. These remarkable individuals were recognized for their exceptional achievements and significant impact in th
eir respective fields.
Iviemena Omadevuae is a highly accomplished Real Estate Consultant with a focus on Brokerage and Investment Advisory. Over the last 5 years, she has collaborated with more than 30 real estate firms and successfully managed and coordinated the sales and acquisition of numerous properties, both within and outside Lagos, Nigeria. Her work has totaled over $100M in value across more than 100 satisfied clients.
The African Achievers Awards ceremony and summit provided a platform for industry leaders and notable personalities of African origin to converge and engage in discussions about strategies for sustainable development on the African continent.
The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed Olu of Warri, accompanied by his Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom, Olori Atuwatse III, who added a royal touch to the occasion.

The host for this year’s event was the Right Honorable Lord Simon Woolley, a Member of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament. Lord Woolley is a renowned British politician, activist, and the founder and director of Operation Black Vote, as well as a Trustee of the charity Police Now.
Since its inception in 2010, the African Achievers Awards has grown into one of the most reputable awarding bodies on the African continent and has become one of the largest annual gatherings of influential African achievers worldwide.
