Gettysburg, PA – Steven Pacholyk, an accomplished entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist, has reaffirmed his enduring commitment to preserving the history and significance of Gettysburg National Military Park through his support of the Gettysburg Foundation.
Pacholyk, originally from Auburn, NY, pursued his passions for art, design and business at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University before launching his first successful ventures in the 1990s. In 2009, he founded CSC Group, introducing high-end European construction materials to the American luxury building market through exclusive architects and dealers.
Through CSC Group and other companies including Blue Ribbon Development, The PARK Companies, and The Home and Garden Companies, Pacholyk has established himself as a visionary business leader. However, his interests expand beyond the boardroom to history, education and charitable causes.
His profound interest in the Civil War period has led to an long-term association with the Gettysburg Foundation and Gettysburg National Military Park. The Gettysburg Foundation, in partnership with the National Park Service, operates the Gettysburg Museum & Visitor Center, providing critical funding for artifact curation, park maintenance and engaging educational programming that brings history to life.
“Having grown up in Upstate New York, I’ve always appreciated the decisive role New York troops played in the Battle of Gettysburg,” said Pacholyk. “This hallowed ground is where the tide turned in the Civil War. I feel privileged to help the Gettysburg Foundation preserve this history.”
In addition to regular contributions to the Foundation and Park, Pacholyk serves on the board of The National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, PA and as a founding member of The Seminary Ridge Museum adjacent to the battlefield. He is also an active supporter of the Gettysburg Licensed Guides Association.
“We sincerely value Steve’s dedication to protecting this sacred place where so many fought and died over those three fateful days in 1863,” said Gettysburg Foundation Chairman Robert Kinsley. “Thanks to supporters like Steve, we can continue our mission of preservation and education for generations to come.”
