Social Learning Platform, Tigerhall, Integrates with Microsoft Teams to Make Learning a Daily Habit
Tigerhall to embed social learning as a daily habit for users within Teams.

October 24, 2023 – Tigerhall has integrated its social learning platform with Microsoft Teams.

Tigerhall is a Social Learning Platform that transforms how professionals learn from one another. Driven by the idea that where you come from should never get in the way of where you want to go, CEO & Founder Nellie Wartoft’s Tigerhall boasts over 10,000 pieces of content from over 1,500 Thinkfluencers that allow professionals to learn from experts in easy-to-digest, engaging formats.

17 Fortune 100 organizations and many Fortune 500 companies already use Tigerhall for their employees. Tigerhall found that these organizations desired an engaging learning platform that employees would actually want to use. By leveraging social learning, engagement rates and adoption rates are key objectives that Tigerhall excels in. Tigerhall’s platform has helped large global enterprises build a culture of learning, instill emotional intelligence in their teams, build employees’ soft skills, expand leadership development and sales enablement, drive effective onboarding, and navigate organizational change.

Now, Tigerhall’s platform will be integrated with Microsoft Teams.

To ensure the integration is seamless and compatible with users’ day-to-day workflow, Tigerhall conducted interviews with six of its enterprise customers, including Adecco, Infor, and HP, to understand how enterprises use Microsoft Teams. Tigerhall found that users leverage Microsoft Teams as their main communication platform, and the place to access company information. They also found that users typically engage and chat with their team within the platform and that Microsoft Teams has become their main digital channel at work to socialize with coworkers.

With the interviews in mind, Tigerhall for Microsoft Teams will include an Activity Feed & Messaging Integration where users can directly comment, like, and get updates on the content they are consuming with their organization. Users can take actions via chat messages such as joining a Trail Group. Other features include Microsoft Graph integration to create more personalized content and connections between users and their cohorts, all of which further enhance the Tigerhall social learning experience for employees.

Users can sign in to Tigerhall directly from Microsoft Teams through the Personal Tab. Tigerhall admin features, like analytics and assigning content, will be directly accessible from Microsoft Teams. Tab iframe experience will directly incorporate Tigerhall topic categories and assignments into the Microsoft Teams interface. Bot-powered topic subscriptions will also be available.

“This integration will help employees access insights from business leaders at scale. By seamlessly integrating Tigerhall with Microsoft Teams, we can provide employees with access to the world’s best business insights in an environment where they are already working. This integration will make social learning a daily habit, in the flow of work, further embedding Tigerhall as a central part of the employee experience,” says Saul Burrows, Head of Product at Tigerhall.

Ben Summers, director of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 Platform Marketing added, “Tigerhall’s integration with Microsoft Teams provides employees access to business insights through social learning. This integration will make it easier and more accessible for employees to level up their skills and knowledge without having to navigate multiple interfaces.”
