Raven Keiara is redefining what it means to be a young leader in today’s world. At the age of 17, this Disney alum has become a powerful force in both the entertainment industry and social activism, driven by a mission to uplift and empower her generation.
Raven Keiara’s initiative, “Show Up and Step Up,” represents her commitment to addressing the critical issues facing Gen-Z. With a focus on social justice, community building, and civic engagement, her program aims to inspire young people to take action and make a difference in their communities. Her work includes mentoring, community training, and volunteer service, all while promoting diversity and combating systemic challenges.
“I’m invested in my community. More than anything I want to offer insightful input to help our local government analyze how to best help all people and that is what I want my portfolio to consist of. I want to take part in making more informed investment choices in humanity because democracy can’t wait,” said Raven Keiara.
Her efforts have not gone unnoticed. In June 2024, Raven Keiara received accolades from high-profile figures such as Senator Ben Allen and L.A. County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell. These honors recognize her significant contributions to advancing racial equity, fighting food insecurity, and improving mental health resources. Her work has also earned her recognition from U.S. Senator Laphonza Butler and Congressman Ted Lieu, among others.
“It really comes down to helping pull together various emerging countercultural efforts including alternative ways of doing things and exploration of how innovation can help with the movement,” said Raven Keiara.
In addition to her activism, Raven Keiara’s artistic talents continue to shine. Her recent projects include starring in the streaming movie “Our Christmas Love Story” and performing in the music video “Show Me,” which has captivated audiences worldwide. Her versatility extends to her roles as an actress, singer, dancer, and producer, reflecting a career that began with early successes in Hollywood.
Raven Keiara’s journey from co-founding PopSource TV at age eight to becoming the youngest producer at Tavis Smiley’s KBLA radio station at age fifteen is a testament to her drive and creativity. Her leadership at Amazing Grace Conservatory (AGC) and her continued involvement in artistic and civic endeavors highlight her commitment to using her platform for positive change.
“When I was younger, I decided I wanted to stand up and give a voice to people that couldn’t stand up and speak for themselves,” said Raven Keiara.
Raven Keiara’s story is one of remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication.
