TAMPA, Fla. – October 7th, 2024 – Sohpros Recovery, Florida’s leading addiction and substance abuse outpatient treatment and recovery center, is excited to share its new virtual therapy program with the Florida community. Aimed primarily at those seeking help but unable to reach the center’s physical office, its new virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) will launch on October 21, 2024, for all adults over the age of 18 in Florida.

Sophros Recovery is a premier addiction treatment center providing holistic, evidence-based care. With a client-centered approach, they offer a range of services designed to support individuals on their journey to recovery. Their mission is to help clients regain their lives and achieve lasting sobriety through comprehensive and compassionate care.

According to Nick Padlo, the founder and CEO of Sophros Recovery, this new program aims to encourage meaningful connections and community-building for those still in the early stages of recovery from addiction and substance abuse. The new virtual IOP program will provide access to top-tier quality care to those unable to access such care within daily driving distance of their homes.

“When people can get to in-person treatment, they should. It encourages beautiful connection and community early in recovery, says Padlo. “The reality, however, is that not everyone in Florida has access to top-tier quality-of-care within daily driving distance of their home. We are launching the Sophros Virtual IOP to fill that gap.”

Clients can expect a welcome packet that will provide a full copy of the 10-week IOP curriculum covered in their virtual therapy experience. Upon signing up, clients will also receive all valuable resources to make their virtual experience as immersive as possible. During the program, Sophros Recovery will host group meetings, breakout sessions, virtual whiteboarding, and individual sessions to mimic the experience clients receive in person.
