Dr. Mah has been practicing for over 26 years and is currently serving patients at her private, solo practice in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she worked alongside with her mother Jeanette H. J. Chang, MD until her retirement. Dr. Mah also holds hospital privileges at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children and The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School Of Medicine.
Dr. Mah received her medical degree at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School Of Medicine in 1987. She then went on to serve her internship and residency training at the University of California Irvine in Orange, California. Dr. Mah remains a professional member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (Hawaii Chapter) and the Pacific Medical Administrative Group, as well as being a board member and President of the Independent Physician Association. She attributes her success to being a full time mother, pediatrician, and gymnastic coach, which led her to thrive through rapid change and challenges. She loves working with families through the life cycle and educating new parents. Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Mah is a gymnastics coach and academy instructor.
