Steve Davis, the CEO, and owner of Davis and associates, a private investigation firm, has just received the “Private Investigator of the year 2016”. This award was bestowed on him by fellow colleagues in the Private Investigators Association of Colorado, as a testament to years of hard work and quality service. Steven joined the PPIAC as a board member in 2011, gradually working his way up to become the current Chairman of the board of the over 100 members strong association.
Steve’s career spans over 35 years, starting as a military police officer in the US Army in 1976. He left the US military to start his law enforcement career, working as a police officer in Colorado. He started as a police officer, detective, sergeant, later becoming a lieutenant and finally a chief of police. As a hardworking, inspired and motivated man, Davis thought that he could give more as a private investigator. This is why he started his private investigation firm in 2006, in his Longmont Colorado office. Over a decade later, the company, Davis and Associates Professional Background Services LLC, has highly experienced full-time and part-time investigators, with offices in Colorado and Arizona.
As a professional private investigator, Steve’s ideology has always been to satisfy the client and ensure they get the best investigation possible. On receiving the award Steven said: “I love this job and the people I work with, I never see myself as a businessman running a firm to make profits. I believe this work is just more than that, it has to do with integrity, service, and results. In this work, I have learned both good and bad lessons over the years, which has helped to shape me into what I am today”. Thanking the association for the recognition Steven said “I am honored to receive such a prestigious award. I dedicate this award to Hannah Hrabik”. Steve was working on Hannah’s case as a missing person but later find her deceased in a car at the young age of 25.
The award was given to Steven at the Rocky Mountain Investigators conference which was held on September 24th 2016, at the Renaissance hotel, Downtown Denver.
