The group has adopted Indian Accounting standards (“Ind AS”) notified by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs with effect from April 1, 2016. Accordingly the financial results for the six months and quarter ended September 30, 2016 and September 30, 2015 are in compliance with Ind AS and other accounting principles generally accepted in India.
The group has accounted for all exchange fluctuations (gain/loss) in relation to realized, unrealized and Mark to Market (MTM) under the head of Finance Cost to comply with Ind AS.

A new plant of Resinova Chemie Ltd at Santej- Gujarat has partially commissioned its operations during the month of October 2016. The plant will be operative at its full-fledged capacity from January 2017 onwards.
Astral Pipes Limited – a JV at Kenya, where the company has 37.5% stake, has recorded sales revenue of Rs. 126.63 Mn for the six months ended June 30, 2016.
