New York – After seven years of developing Mississippi College’s first Table Tennis Athletic Program, Jenny Wu has paddled her way to the peak of her career. Certified Level 1 Table Tennis Coach by ITTF (the highest governing body in the sport), Ms. Wu will soon begin training youth in the game she has mastered.
Since age five, when she was first discovered by her first coach Zhaohai Wei, until now she has gained a lifetime of achievements. She has won numerous amount of competitions in her home country and in the US. This was made possible by her extensive training and discipline at such a young age.
Coming to the U.S. Ms. Wu after winning the regional tournament took her College team to the nationals for the first time in the history of any sports program at Mississippi College, an achievement that built up the future success of the College’s table tennis program. (2015 Mississippi College was the national champions)
The U.S. is soundless in the competitive sport; nonetheless, we predict a complete transformation. In the U.S today, there is very few great female table tennis players, female coaches there are none. Due to this, outstanding female coaches are in demand. Maybe American schools or organizations scout and hire well developed male players to compete for them as a player; then again, as a coach, they prefer to hire a female.
Where does this put Ms. Wu as an eminent table tennis coach with years of experience? Well with the high demands, Preschool of America in NYC has been fortunate enough win her over. Watch out the U.S. might just make their name in the next Olympic Games in the Table Tennis Competition. We will have to wait and see.
Ms. Wu is ranked 47th of 100 women in the USATT rating. She is a prominent player with skills like no other. She has led her team to wins repeatedly, she is here, and she is here to stay.
