Richard Karpinski, an innovator and a traveler with an ambition to help others, has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for a A New GLOBAL ‘Lost & Found’ Service platform that will allow users, especially travelers to search out their lost belongs by contacting other users. The Wismiii app is a concept that will help out with a problem that most people face on a daily basis. The initiative was taken by Richard the to raise funds to cover the costs of development, operations, marketing and various other expenses for the app, the crowdfunding campaign (igg.me/at/wismiii) has been set up on the most popular crowdfunding platform Indiegogo with a funding goal of at least $250,000 to be raised within the next 2 months.
The development of the internet and smart devices has facilitated connectivity and partnerships in a way that hasn’t been possible before, Wismiii app would be encouraging and supporting collaboration among the internet users to help one another find and locate lost belonging. The app will serve as a bridge between people around the world which will allow them to work together to help each other out.
“I feel a friend of all of you because I know that we can help each other. Key words that describe our project is a sense of safety, minimising fear against losing something that is important for us, and the fact that today I help someone else and tomorrow someone else will help me. I don’t like parting with something that is important for me, in particular by losing it. That is why with Wismiii we will find something that is important for us all over the world,” Richard explained the idea behind the app.
People who have lost something will be able to use the app to report the lost item, check off the locations they might have been to, contact other users to ask for their assistance to find the lost item.
The funds raised through the current crowdfunding campaign will be allocated to various aspects necessary for the completion of the app for different platforms. A majority of the funding will be assigned to developing an easy to use, reliable and functional app, with dynamic features.
