Delay in morning commute for work and to schools is a recurring problem for the residents of the City of Beverly. Many neighborhoods in the city deal with multiple issues such as high traffic congestion, lack of pedestrian safety, high traffic volume, unaddressed road maintenance, and a massive backlog of sidewalk repairs. Many patched-up side streets have not been repaved in decades and the local government needs to address this issue.
A new dawn awaits the Beverly City residents as local government elections approach, bringing new hope for a brighter and less toilsome morning with it. Richard Tabbut, a candidate for Beverly City Council At-Large, has set forth on the mission to make the roads and streets of the city less crowded and fully functional to ensure zero disruptions for daily commuters.
Richard Tabbut graduated from UMass-Boston with a BS in Management and a concentration in Accounting. He is also a Massachusetts National Army Guard veteran, where he was awarded the Army Achievement Medal. Tabbut is now a retired military man who has spent all his life in the city, which he promises to improve with devotion and energy.
He plans to speak to the people of his city and listen to their questions, with an intent to provide the answers that resolve their issues. Rich believes there are no easy answers to such problems, but he will keep striving for this city to make it truly, “The Garden City.”
