Dr. Delmar Denise “Dominique” Peterson is the current reigning Ms. Illinois World Universal 2021. She is an outstanding representation of pageantry and professionalism in the Chicagoland area! From her amazing balance of beauty and brains to her selfless contributions to the community, she is one fantastic woman! Here is an exclusive interview with Dr. Delmar discussing her latest endeavors in the world of fashion, femininity and philanthropy.
What’s Your Story? Discuss Your Major Achievements In Your Life’s Work?
My greatest accomplishment in the pageant world was to be honored as the Woman of the Year for the World Class Magazine Publishing Brand owned by CEO Derek Tokarzewski, Mr. United Nations, 2018 @ www.WorldclassBrandPublishing.com. I have never felt so affirmed as an individual or appreciated for the service of my humanitarian platform as to when I saw my image grace the cover of World Class Beauty Queen and American Royalty magazines as a respected, loved and upcoming brand celebrity. I was also a covergirl for the USA-Africa Magazine published by CEO Olawale Idreez @ www.africausatodaymag.com.
I have received the esteemed honor of being selected out of hundreds of applicants to have my image displayed on an electronic rotating billboard in New York’s Time Square compliments of Supermodels Unlimited with Ms. Kimberly Clark and Ms. Mary Baldwin. Additionally, the amazing Supermodels Unlimited Organization granted me the honor of being named one of their 100 Fashion Models of all time along with a publication in their leading international magazine. SU honored me by putting my image on their billboard 100 feet into the air for Fashion Week, this past September, in New York Times Square. I will receive this same honor again as their VIP Model on their Times Square Billboards in December 2021. Also, I am, again, so thankful and appreciative to them for including me into their exclusive Celebrity Model’s Squad Varsity and VIP Inner Circles. I am so excited to have graduated with a Master’s Degree in Education this summer through the American College of Education @https://www.ace.edu/. This has prepared me to continue the process of becoming a candidate to accept a position and serve as a post-secondary principal for Chicago Public Schools.
I was thrilled to have received an Honorary Doctorate in Educational Ministry in February of 2020 through the Shekinah Glory Theological Seminary which is accredited through the Bible Institute of America. The conferring dean was Apostle Dr. Bridget C. Outlaw. Apostle Dr. Outlaw is the CEO of Daughters of Destiny Enterprises, Inc. @ www.daughtersofdestinyent.com. This year, I took a course series called Creating the Millionaire’s Table University Lab, from Dr. Bridget C. Outlaw, that was very rewarding and enlightening in that it taught how anyone can start and maintain a long-term successful business. I am also very appreciative of the fact that through my mentorship with Apostle Dr. Bridget C. Outlaw, I have signed a contract that will allow me to receive brand new home furnishings and offer them for free to those in need living within surrounding communities. As a result, I am in the process of launching a home goods store where the cost for every product is $Free99.
One of my recent honors was to receive the 2021 FRESH FACES PROJECT INNOVATOR AWARD for my contributions to the entrepreneurship and creative arts industries. This magnificent award was bestowed upon me from Madame Queen Calynn M. Lawrence of the Miss USA Universe Tourism Pageant Platform. Who or what motivates or inspires you to do the work you do?
What motivates me to do the work I do is my ability to show my love for my creator by serving those he loves dearly which is mankind the pinnacle of creation. Additionally, I love teaching and supporting others on their journey toward becoming the best versions of their fullest potential! Finally, I am an advocate for those in need of a legal, political or cultural voice,formal education, counseling guidance or sustainable resources. If I don’t have what one needs then my inspiration is to point them in the right direction to their next advancement.
What are some projects that you are currently working on or promoting?
Most of my current projects are listed in my attached biographies however I would like to additionally mention a special project I am embarking upon at this time. I am planning a major homeless outreach which will commence during this late fall to early winter season. I will be distributing coats, survival/regular blankets, body/hand warmers, book bags, note books, pens/pencils, first aid kits, toiletries, vitamins, food etc… for 150-200 people. I plan to have city staff on hand to distribute vital homeless intervention information. I want to “Celebrate the Uncelebrated” with music, balloons, decorations and dancing! What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?
My ultimate goal in my career is to redistribute resources as needed on a global level to promote fairness in equity in the major domains of life and to create sustainable regions both at home and abroad internationally.

I believe my brand is a premier outreach to society addressing concerns that are felt upon a cultural global platform. My brand is relevant because it highlights contemporary concerns on the heart of humanity today. My brand contributes to the international ”think tank” process of problem solving to resolve these concerns.
