March 30, 2020 – With the closure of schools and uncertainty over what the future holds, parents and the education industry are thinking of new ways to keep children engaged and carry on their education uninterrupted, while in the confines of their homes. The Learn@Home online educational system is one such service, offering online guided lessons for students in Grades 1-8. Learn@Home is the only software on the Internet that tests students using adaptive technology to get a precise overview of a student’s academic needs and assigns a personalized curriculum of online lessons based on their test results.
“I’m excited to make this powerful educational software that includes a diagnostic and lessons available to home users. Normally this software is only available to schools that license it. As a parent of two, we’ve tried many other online systems. Some include gamification that gets monotonous, some are just a list of lessons with no direction and many have out-dated lessons. There is nothing online like Learn@Home that provides an in-depth diagnostic with personalized lessons tailored to the student’s level. I use Learn@Home to keep my children on-track and focused on the main goal which is learning,” says Jason Dare the Founder of Learn@Home.
Armed with award-winning software, Learn@Home is an online educational system. The idea behind it is to target weak areas, such as those in math, and use guided online lessons to create a ladder to success. Members have access to remote sessions with a teacher, on-demand or scheduled. Quick question sessions or check-ins can last as little as 10 minutes.
“Our blended environment for learning includes a comprehensive academic diagnostic, engaging guided lessons, and remote support from a teacher, all live and online,” says Jason.
The software deployed by Learn@Home is used in schools and is preferred by teachers for its comprehensive diagnostic and lessons targeting the individual needs of each student. The diagnostic adjusts its questions based on the student’s accuracy in their response. This allows the software to pinpoint the student’s grade-level understanding of sub-sections of Math and Reading. The software compiles the data resulting in a personalized lesson plan targeting the student’s needs. Weekly detailed reports, statistics, and a thrice-a-year diagnostics keep the parents informed on their child’s progress.
“Our teachers will monitor student’s lesson reports and if an area of needed review arises, the teacher will get in touch with you to see if you’d like to schedule a remote, live online review session,” says Jason.
Learn@Home includes over 6,000 lessons and has a growing student base of over 7,000 students to date. Post enrollment, students can log in using any computer of their choice via a web browser. The Learn@Home educational system is accessible on iPads as well.
