Blue Ocean Residence Hotel Holds International Farewell Performance for Three Participant Countries at 2023 Jamboree, Showcasing K-Culture

According to the Blue Ocean Residence Hotel (CEO Lee Ho-seong), 1,500 students participating in the Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree were hosted by the hotel on August 8, including students from Denmark, Australia, and Norway, who were offered free luggage storage space to facilitate their stay.

A representative stated that the hotel provided students with comfort and encouragement, in addition to performing a special performance to uplift students who were disappointed by the Jamboree’s circumstances. The hotel covered all expenses for the performance, including acts such as magic, breakdancing, K-pop dancing, and DJing. The performance included local artists from Yeongjong Island, creating a welcoming display filled with art and culture.”

Furthermore, “Dong-A Otsuka, the official beverage sponsor of ‘2023 Saemangeum 25th World Scout Jamboree,’ provided free Pocari Sweat drinks as a means of supporting event participants’ safety and well-being during the changing weather conditions that caused the youth members to leave early.” Adding, “Organizers prepared the event to offer solace, and we are pleased that so many students participated and enjoyed it.”

They emphasized, “These welcoming performances not only warm the hearts of young individuals but also contribute significantly to promoting Korea’s diverse culture and art to the world as a whole.” They added that by hosting various cultural events in the future, Blue Ocean Residence Hotel will continue to “enhance and promote Korea’s allure.”
