Burst Into Books will host their 2nd Annual Community Change Maker Fundraiser, taking place at The Back Nine Banquet Hall located at the Fountain Hills Golf Club in Alsip, IL., on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
The 2nd Annual Community Change Maker Fundraiser will consist of: a celebratory dinner experience highlighting and honoring our community partners and agents of change in the community. The attendees will experience: a catered dinner experience; live entertainment with a DJ, a special tribute honoring community change makers and Burst Into Books community partners, live auction, and much more. The list of honorees that will be highlighted are: Jenny Leflore, Candice Washington, Andre Russell, Jeff Beckham, Aisha and Kendall Griffin, Joseph Williams, and Aisha Malone.
When asked how community support and funds donated and raised from the 2nd Annual Community Change Maker Fundraiser will help the organization, Founder and Executive Director Jurema Gorham states “Each donation will help to continue supporting our programs, our services, and building renovations. Together we can continue to create brave spaces for the youth, their families, and communities to thrive.”
