Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church will conduct “Autumn Lights,” a candlelight fundraiser on Sunday to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s disease research.

The Senior Adult Council of the church is hosting the outdoor event, which will be an evening of music and praying illuminated by candlelight.

When participants arrive, they will be given a glass jar candle votive, which will be lit at night.

The Alzheimer’s Association of Guilford County will benefit from all proceeds. Donors are urged to give in honor or memory of someone special. In October, a commemorative prayer booklet will be published, with all honorees and donors receiving a complimentary copy in the mail.
