Their success in these series’ was impressive to many because of the injuries that kept Curry out of the lineup for several weeks. Then came the Western Conference Finals when the Warriors fell behind 3-1 in the best-of-7 series and were being out-played. Despite the best record in NBA history and the first-ever unanimous selection for the NBA Most Valuable Player award, many weren’t giving the Warriors a chance to come back. The team did and is now on the way to hosting the Cavaliers for the second straight season.
During the regular season, Curry averaged 30.1 points per game and has averaged 26.7 ppg during the playoffs and will be relied upon to lead the Warriors to their fifth title. Fans at the Oracle Arena will look to get behind Curry and all their biggest stars when the NBA Finals kicks off on June 2. The Oracle Arena will be site of Games 1 and 2, and if necessary, Games 5 and 7.
