Chilean soccer expert changing American Soccer
Cristian Gutierrez training top youth soccer players

Miami, FL – The arrival of mega star Lionel Messi to America’s Major League Soccer has caused a wave of investment in youth soccer programs. At the forefront of major investment efforts is Cristian Gutierrez a Chilean born player, recruiter and trainer. Gutierrez leads sports efforts at Ideassport located at the ESPN Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

“Our investment incorporates two important elements often missing in American soccer: world class coaching and cutting-edge methodology in the framework of a year round soccer program,” says Gutierrez.

According to Top Soccer, an academy certification organization, presence of soccer academies has increased 300% in the last three years.

Gutierrez has consulted with many of these academies training its coaches on American standards of soccer management but also manages Ideasport teams competing at the highest level of youth competition.

“Our goal is to leverage the recent increase in soccer interest as well as form a new generation of accomplished players,” says Gutierrez.

Recently Gutierrez recruited 300 new promising youth players for year-round training. As a comparison most leagues have 30-50 students all year. The difference? Gutierrez player formation method used by the world’s top federations and clubs.

A combination of sports psychology and player skill formation has made Gutierrez a leader in consulting with more than 1,000 academies across the country creating a new brand of soccer training.

“We hope to form the next Messi from right here, made in the USA,” concluded Gutierrez.
