November 20th, 2020 – Color Vision, an organization dedicated to the upliftment of Black women has just announced the launch of its free nationwide membership service. The membership service will support women of color with training, mentorship and scholarships to gain access to equal opportunities in employment, business, and higher education.
2020 has been a chaotic year of upheaval. The trauma of Covid-19, economic shutdown, and civil unrest has led to a period of uncertainty. Black people especially have suffered in this time of trauma and turmoil. Color Vision comes as a boon to creative Black women helping them unite together to harbor in a safe space of community, encouragement and dialogue. Color Vision is the perfect platform for black women who have till now been overlooked, left out and at times felt unseen. It will offer a direct path to such women with the choice of several benefits and resources to help them gain a foothold in society with opportunities that ensure a brighter future.
A Color Vision membership will be a life-changing decision for creative black women across the country. It will provide them with opportunities to get hired at some of the most prestigious innovative companies in the world. The platform’s unique mentorship program will encourage the next generation of creative black women, through master classes in business and the arts, internships, scholarship opportunities and so much more.
For the past year, Color Vision’s advisory board and partners have been engaged in offering groundbreaking and needed community resources for creative black women by focusing on events that would unite them in person nationwide. Despite the uncertainty of 2020, the ladies of color vision still managed to hold numerous virtual events uniting its community of over 10,000 women during the time they needed it most.
Color Vision is an organization dedicated to helping women of color go from desire to achievement in their careers or businesses. The company was founded in 2018 by Mia J. Davis when she sought to build a community that could provide an open and safe space for creative women of color in a business that rarely celebrates them.
